Above Ground Treatment System
The MTM site in Devon used the very compact and well manufactured Marsh Industries UNI Saf plant to come to the aid of a client whose house lies directly over an old mine working. The system fitted to the upper garden layer allowing the rest of the main garden area to act as the drainage field. With an increasing need to unsure good site design MTM Environmental where able to provide the prefered option from its competion and to the satisfaction of the client.

Bexley Housing Drainage - MTM New NHBC Contract
New Housing Drainage Repairs for the NHBC - Bexley, London
MTM have just completed on behave of the NHBC repairs to some defective deep drainage pipework in a housing development in Bexley. The works needed to be undertaken in a very limited working area with the requirement to keep the residents access for their vehicles. With a shingle sub soil and the closeness of nearby building, steel trench sheeting was used throughout.
In the new year MTM are undertaking a more traditional role installing a sewage polishing unit to improve an existing treatment plant for the NHBC.

MTM Treatment Plant for the Environment Agency
MTM Treatment Plant at Marsh Lock House
River Thames For the Environment Agency
An interesting project to upgrade the existing treatment system for the Environment Agency's Lock House at Henley on Thames has been undertaken. This involved replacing the existing filter bed with a Marsh UNI Gem unit having a nitrification add on.
Access was only pedestrian so the UNI Gem was ideal as the system is modular and compact, hand excavation was carried out with the unit being delivered via a barge. The unit will treat the waste water from the lock house which is located in the main river stream. The Marsh UNI Gem is an alternative system to main full scale plants and is very useful where site access is limited.

Septic Tank Business
MTM Drains is going from strength to strength in the septic tank and drainage business. However, keeping ahead requires constant vigilance. Some of our competitors appear to using less than scrupulous techniques to bring their websites to the public eye. Our approach is to use good, relevant content and to link to relevant websites.
